Community Involvement

Community InvolvementDr. Bruce Levinston and the staff of Bridgewater Veterinary Hospital take great pride in being part of the larger community of Bridgewater and Central New Jersey. From our success, we know that it is important for a thriving veterinary practice to be part of the community it serves. Without our friends and neighbors we would not have been able to succeed over these many years.

For these reasons we enjoy being a good neighbor and take every opportunity to do our part to sustain and strengthen our communities. Members of our staff volunteer, donate or in some way participate in our local libraries, schools, and civic organizations.

We also believe it is important for us to share our veterinary knowledge and expertise. For example, we work with St. Hubert’s Animal Shelter by providing regular wellness examinations, vaccines and surgeries. We also go to local schools to teach kids about pet care and discuss careers in veterinary medicine. Boy and Girl Scout troops come to our facility for tours and to learn about pet care and safety. They even receive merit badges for these visits.

In all, Bridgewater Veterinary Hospital is very proud of our contributions to our communities in both financial and volunteer hours.
